But over the past few days, as I completed some holiday elf-like tasks, I was surprised by the number of f2f retailers who were handing my purchases to me in a clear plastic bag. (A heavyweight, handsomely designed bag -- but clear nonetheless.) And then there were online retailers who mailed packages in translucent mailer bags, and one that printed the package's contents on a label right on the front of the box.
